The St. Thomas Skating Club is offering programmes that are designed to improve skating speed and power for hockey and ringette players. Designed for beginners to those that are strong but wanting to improve.
PROGRAMS

PRE-CANPOWER
Designed for young skaters, approximately 4 to 6 years of age who can stand up on skates and move forward (shuffle, walk or glide) who may not be ready for CanPowerSkate Level 1. Pre-Power helps develop basic skating abilities in a power skating-specific environment, including balance skills, forward and backward skating, stopping, turning and agility skills. The curriculum is presented in three progressive levels complete with its own awards to encourage participation and motivate skaters. Pre-Power has been designed to run concurrently with CanSkate sessions.

CANPOWER
For children who are either House League or Travel players. Ages 5-10.

ADVANCED CANPOWER
Targeting strong skaters or those that are older. Ages 8-13. This will be a fast paced challenging course.
